I also fell in love with a girl

She was pretty and sweetest of all

It would sound like any other tale which is boring

But, I too had a love story

The very first sight of her got me locked

I couldnt move , in her eyes I was lost

From then I never stopped to talk about her glory

Yes, I too had a love story

Went out searching for my girl out and in

But she already belonged to someone else back then

For myself then I felt sorry

But, I too had a love story

After long, one day I met her again

Within no time I found to be her friend

Her talks and smile were always adoring

Yes, I too had a love story

To spend rest of my life with her I dreamed

She felt the same way by her actions sometimes it seemed

We did fight at times like tom and jerry

But, I too had a love story

We came close as the time went by

All I wanted was to make her mine

What was her mindset? ...was the thing to worry

I remember each day spent with her clearly

As time passed my love grew strong but she payed heed merely

I thought our love had no expiry

But, I too had a love story

Once she said she loves me but needs time

I had faith hence said you can take mine

But with her actions everything started looking blurry

Yes, I too had a love story

After many pleadings and proposals in the end she replied

Before hearing those venoms I wished I had died

Her words were big STOP sign

It was final that she wouldn't be mine

And it was hard for me to stay in line

All I had asked was for her love

But she always wanted to get rid of (me)

I walked away with slow paced steps

She didnt care to stop and rearrange the relations decks

It all seemed like hypothetical theory

But, I too had a love story

I wished she had called

I thought we had it all

To work out everything that was planned

I loved her n she loved me

Yes... I too had a love story
